Smith Biotech was founded in 1999 to address the communications needs of British Columbia´s startup biotechnology community.  BC´s biotech community expressed a need for flexible, knowledgeable consultants who could coordinate and manage various aspects of corporate communications in order for these companies to focus their limited resources on science.
